What Language will the Retreat be in?

Sandy mainly teaches in English and Anemone mainly teaches in Danish. But between the two of us we will be able to make sure everyone is well cared for, and that you feel comfortable in the classes.

Do I Need to Be Very Good at Yoga?

You don't need a lot of yoga experience to be able to participate and enjoy the retreat. Our classes will be tailored towards whoever is coming with us, and we give options for you to dive deeper or pull back if you wanted to. 

Do I Need to Bring My Own Yoga Equipments?

Our price is all inclusive, we will provide yoga mats and all other equipments we will use in the classes.

What Else Should I Bring With Me?

You should bring enough comfortable clothes to practice yoga and other activities in, the temperature in Denmark this time of year varies between 13 to 17 degree C, so take that into account. Of course bring your swimwear and sun glasses as well. 

Are There Other Things To Do Other Than Yoga?

In our Maribo location we are a short drive from the Knuthenborg SafariparkCrocodile Zoo, Maribo Sø (lake) and Hunseby skov og strand (forest and beach). We also encourage you to take nature walks and fully absorb the beautiful summer sun and air in South Zealand.

Do I Need to Arrange My Own Transportations?

We are expecting everyone to arrive at various times, so we expect you to arrange your own transportations. If you are coming from Copenhagen, the easiest way will be to drive. Or you can alternatively take the train to Maribo station and switch to local bus 722 to Hunseby Kirkevej, or if you fancy taking a bit of biking, it is a short ride of 12 minutes from the train station.
