Class Styles
Hatha
A slower type of practice with more emphasis on detailed alignments. We stay longer in each pose and connect our breaths into micro movements to go deeper. This class is ideal for people who want to deepen their practice and train their mind to savour the moment.
Yin
A passive type of practice that works on your deep connective tissues and range of movement. We will stay between 3-6 minutes in each pose with small activations in the body. And we use a lot of breathe work to keep you in a meditative state. This class is ideal for people who would like to have slow, deep experience with their body and mind.
Private Classes
One-on-One
Sandy offers one-on-one classes in Copenhagen, it can be in her living room, a booked studio location, or in your own private home.
She designs a structured progressive courses (forløb) for those who want to establish an independent practice at home, those who want to work through stress or crisis, or those who has special needs for their body, or those who simply wants to get deeper into yoga.
Each individual progressive course could be supplemented with audio, pictures or video files, as well as email support that can continue guide your practice in between each session.
Within a few weeks you will be able to notice improvements in strength and flexibility in your body, and finding the mind in a calmer state.
Corporate
A regular practice of yoga can help your employees develop to the best of their potential, it reduces the amount of stress and sick leaves.
As modern, techno-driven beings we spend a lot of time sitting in our office chairs and putting our focuses in our heads. Habitual seated postures, fast food culture, constant staring at the brainwave-stimulating machineries and overdrive usage of the mind creates blockages.
Our mind and our bodies are in the same vessel, without proper care of the physical body, our intelligent mind cannot function to its best potential.
Employees from corporate yoga sessions will learn the physical yoga poses, breathing techniques, meditation & relaxation techniques and chair yoga that they can bring into their everyday work life.
